Safari Terms & Conditions

 

We make use of various different concessions for our hunting safaris and our safari rates and trophy prices are calculated and quoted according to the concession we use for your hunt. These rates are calculated taking into account the logistical costs to use the concession, the costs at the concession, as well as the group size and duration that the client requires. This way the client gets the benefit of a flexible rate vs. a flat rate irrespective of group size and duration of safari. Prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated. All rates will be quoted and confirmed before the commencement of the safari.

 

A full quotation will be given according to our clients requirements and will list all that is included and excluded from the rates. In most cases, our rates include all the day to day costs, ……including transport to and from the concession area, accommodation, all beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, all meals, transport on the concession area, laundry, unless otherwise stated, use of professional guides hunting one on one, or two on one, the services of camp staff, skinners and trackers, field preparation of trophies and dispatch of trophies to a local taxidermist, as well as the use of hunting rifles and ammunition if required.

 

The following items would be excluded from the daily rates unless otherwise agreed upon, ……. Flights, accommodation prior to and after the safari, animals hunted or wounded, taxidermy and export charges, any personal requirements, any activities supplied by concession owner or other facility, spa, day trips etc. and daily laundry if specified.

Please note that different species inhabit different areas, so not all of the above mentioned species are present on any one particular concession area. Depending on trophy choice and availability, a concession area most suited to the client’s requirements will be suggested. Depending on time restraints, more than one concession area can be planned and used to accommodate such requirements if so required.

 

General Terms

 

A deposit amounting to the full daily rate for the duration of the safari or 50% of the chosen package price is required to secure a booking.  Unless specifically arranged, our safaris require a minimum of seven nights and five full hunting days. Deposits are non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.  All payments are to be made either in cash or by means of card facility or payment link. All clients are required to sign an indemnity form before embarking on their hunt.

 

Trophy fees are payable on all animals killed or wounded and must be paid prior to departure from the hunting concession. Trophy fees exclude the meat value of the animals, as well as all taxidermy and export charges. Hunting rates apply for the full period booked for all hunting clients. Please note that no hunting is done on the day of departure due the logistics involved.

 

Attention is drawn to the fact that in terms of South African tax legislation, daily rates and trophy fees quoted are exclusive of the Government levied Value Added Tax (VAT) and VAT will therefore be added to these rates at the current VAT rate at the time of invoice, unless otherwise stated.  

 

 Accommodation requirements for prior to and after the safari may be arranged on your behalf as well as the purchase of any specific items that you may require for your trip.  Please note that the cost of the abovementioned items are not included in our daily tariffs and will be for your own account.

 

It is advisable that clients arrange their own travel, accident and medical insurance as no liability for injuries to persons and/or loss of, or damage to equipment is accepted.
